Trained, Training and on training

Last week was full of trainings, I must say.

I taught someone basic crochet skills, then the following week, I was trained to specialize in 3 business course under Leza Parker Network (LPN) as one of their business consultants, and another 5 next week. Maybe it might spread another week.

I can't wait to officially be certified so I can share and train others the little traits of being an entrepreneur. Soon, I will be able to distribute $100 vouchers under my name, and train fellow start ups. I am excited!

And personally amongst the three courses that was taught, I loved "Business Planning" the most. I feel that all budding entrepreneurs and start-ups should invest in this course. It is very essential to have a business plan for your great ideas to grow.

I always look forward to meeting Leza, because she is always willing to share with me tips whenever I face some enterprenual bumps. She would openly answer my very confidential questions, and the best part about her answer is that it is sometimes very simple, one liner, sometimes one word answers. It leaves me thinking and working more than before.

I hope to continue her legacy to inspire and to kick start budding entrepreneurs to start thinking and working towards their awesome ideas without boundaries. To know that they are not alone, and that their idea is great and that it will only grow bigger and better.

I will definitely be updating once I am qualified to train you all to my very best, and I will be excitingly looking forward!

My business is blooming well...

Assalammu'alaikum family, friends and readers.

Alhamdulillah, my business has grown well. We became Sponsors for the first time this year, and it is so addictive!

I just can't repeat enough that I am participating again in the next event. I felt so good to be around like-minded enterpreneurs who are just so encouraging.

I met many and inspired is more like an understatement. I finally managed a photo with the Youngest Business Guru, the Lady Boss, Leza Parker, and a bonus is that the picture includes Celebrity Guest, Rosita Husin too!

Gorgeous aren't they?

They make me want to resign and pursue what I love doing, but I have yet to achieve that confidence. Perhaps next year, or maybe in 2016. We will see, but resignation is inevitable. Afterall, I want to be home with my kids (if I am blessed to have any, insyaAllah), serving my husband, and surround my support for my parents.

For now, and the next 5years, I will probably be sacrificing a lot of time outside or completing my orders and designing bags to allow my business to flourish.

Now, who said being your own boss is easy? Do you know, we are always on our feet so we can sustain your job with our business? Do you know while we were away from the office where you are "working your ass off", we are tendering projects, or submitting proposals so we can create more jobs, thus challenging you to rise up the ladder? Or opening up new positions so your friends can join the company as your colleagues.

We may have privilledges to sip coffee in the balcony or under our duvets, but if we do that, we won't have this many stuff to get done, and if there aren't many to get done, your job will be redundant. See the impact yet?

To those budding enterpreneurs out there, don't give up. All big businesses start small. This includes the Lady Boss' Bebebows, do you know she was just at home doing bows for kids just 4 years ago? YES, just like me and you! Doing a small home business! And look at Bebebows now, out in stores already! We can too, you know? We just need to know how, when and who. These, insyaAllah, I can teach once I am certified as her Business Consultant, some time in May/June 2014.

And of course, I would apply it to JMYc first, and then share my personal experience on par with what she impart to me to teach. I am sure we will all make it one day, we just need to persevere and sacrifice now for a better tomorrow!

I mean look at JMYc, just 3 years ago, it was just a fragment of my dream. It  was just a dream! And it took me 2 years to incorporate it, and now, 2014, we are featured as one of the many Sponsors for an inspiring event!

Who would have imagined that a fragment of my dream plucked from my big daydreaming moments to be this real? I am definitely grateful for this opportunity to continuously be inspired to be better everyday. InsyaAllah, you will be seeing more of JMYc's logo because this is just our humble beginning, and as we grow we hope to be even more humble!

Story of my life : Rewind, Pause, Play - Part 3

Assalammu'alaikum family and friends,

As you would have read in my previous hidden posts (request them to be published, once published it will be on for 2hours max before it gets hidden again). My life moved on.

And I never knew I can get where I am now when I decided to move on..

That gets us to this entry part 3:

Story of my life : Play

Love:

I never believed the folks when they said, "You'll know when he's the one, and it will keep coming to surprise you"

He came as someone I never expected I would marry. After kindling a friendship for just over a year, we got engaged, and 22 months later, we were married... It has been over a year since we married. As much I was seen irritated and annoyed by him, I will keep choosing to marry him again and again, because he completes me like noone else would.

Career:

I got back in track. I had the worst of my two years having to experience what it is like to be bonded. I left when it was over, and had never enjoyed working at a more relaxed paced with no strict rules. I couldn't say enough love towards my boss and colleagues.

Business:

As I slowly played along, so did my business. It started blooming beyong my very own imagination. As of now, I have 2-3 more samples to complete, and 2 outstanding orders. A photoshoot scheduled for next month (if that couldnt happen, it will happen in June for sure), Catalog design and distribution, more proposals, etc. Who would have guessed I made it this far? And this is not all, I intend to go further!

Time:

With everything going and falling into places, I find very little time to plan a meet up and mingle/socialize with my friends. I only kept close to a small trusted family and friends. Like everyone else, I too had 24 hours a day. With career taking up 8-10hrs a day, and a gd 6-8hours of sleep a day, I am pretty much left with just 6-10hrs to do everything there is for me to do.

I had to cook, do laundry (washing, hanging to dry, folding, ironing and keeping it where it belongs), cleaning (sweeping, mopping) and everything else there really is to do at home. On top of that I had plenty of samples to complete and orders are streaming in.

I would really rather spend that 2-3hrs spare that I could find to spend my time with my husband and both sides of parents. I am sorry dear friends, you will see less and less of me, when my training as a Business Consultant begin too. Then, my time will be really limited, I will have to meet clients, train and the last thing I would do is really sit and talk with nothing much done.

Being an enterpreneur:

This is probably why not everyone is cut out to be an enterpreneur. We can't stop being productive. We made full use of the little time we have, in between snacks, in between chores, in between "rest" time to do as much as we can that can boost our business, and inspire others alongside us. We are not after the money, we are after the journey. We want to plant pretty flowers as we walk the path noone else took, so people would take a peek and smell the flowers we plant along the way.

Life at Play:

It is something I wouldnt want to ever have to pause or rewind. I hope it keeps playing, and I hope my friends understand why I keep declining invitations after invitations to meet. Not now... my friends.. Give me time... When my life has played enough, I will take a pause and spend my entire day with you knowingly there are people working on things that needs worked on for me.

One month later.......

Yes... I have been drained out to blog ever so frequently like how I used to...

SO.... what's new?

I can only update about my business maybe... Because technically, physically and mentally, there is no update on us. LOL. NO news, nothing. Well except, my husband's cousin is getting married this weekend.

So ya! JMYc has been growing well. We collaborated and gave birth to JZ Resellers. We are taking gigantic steps to make it proper nice and legal. Opening our joint bank account, registering in ACRA, and launching our business in general. Website maybe...

Our mission is simple. We want to make the work of home-enterpreneur easier than ours. We supply, you sell, no need to think as we already do the recommended retail prices for you. But if you wanna mark it up higher, by all means. Our rules are simple, there are no stock up required, no bulk purchase required, just a one-time registration fee (to get our catalogues and access to our wholesale price). How much easier can it get?

We are working on our catalogue, and I tell you even I feel like using it for JMYc! We are doing all the hardwork for you, all you need to do is get orders, order, get payment, make payment, and that is it! We even do the packing the mailing for you!

Now JZ Reselllers are going to sell better than JMYc. LOL!

JMYc's website is crawling at the moment, because I am too busy, and so is my website builder. That is okay. I gotta get those pictures out soon to see more of my website revealing its true colours! Get that arse moving!!

We are working on our email and we should be getting access to them soon.

JMYc will also be busy sewing soon, once all the supplies reach me! I can't wait!!!
