Assalammu'alaikum!
I better write before it hits another month delay. LOL.
I was down with bad cough, night fever and running nose, and they basically took turns to visit me, and to the extent that pneumonia crept up to my left lung. Awesome!
Oh well, sick is over - I hope! Strange how I can be so sick at night and be well in the day.
Anyways, strange as can be, I was often approached for advice on how to deal with children. I am feeling like I am Jo Frost of some kind. Not that I am ever going to be as awesome as Jo Frost but well, it felt good when some of my tips work on them and their children.
Today I received a PM. Familiar face, familiar name, and well BINGO! Apparently she don't know who I am, and how coincidence is it that just a few weeks ago, her husband was trying to add me up? I dunno what is the deal, but heck, I ain't gonna add her doesn't mean I won't share with her the knowledge I have, if that is for her own good. I am not made to be evil, maybe.
And so she was thanking me for a tip on how to handle "tembel" (I tried so hard for the english word and this is what I got :
Ketumbit - Stye (in English)
A type of eye infection, usually kids will get it.
Can be due to hygiene issue or even due to lack of vitamins.)
It basically look like this:
Ya, that pimple-like thingy on the eyelid. And so I advised her to keep the child's eye clean, by wiping it with warm water at frequent intervals. And if it didnt subside within the day, to just visit the doctor for some meds, Dr usually give some eye drops or cream. Hygiene is basically key for such infections.
She came again to me, this time about breasfeeding, so I guess I should just share some tips on increasing the milk supply. I came across this blog sometime ago, and had kept it as my bookmark, maybe you should too!

Diet is important when breastfeeding, and it is always recommended to stock up on a lot of high-protein content food, such as Dark-green Leafy vegetables, nuts and such.
More to that, it is really the team work between mommy and baby. I usually recommend mothers to feed on demand for at least the first 3 months. I know I am not yet a mother, but knowledge is power, and it increase when we keep sharing, right?
I have all these information in my fingertips not just for myself, it is for you, anyone who come up to me to ask me. I will gladly read up and find great articles for you (provided I have the time and luxury to do so)
I guess people often wonder what I am doing in my life.. Blogging, Business, Working... And sourcing more information to read about, and absorbing knowledge like a sponge. Well.. I dunno how I do it, but I did.
I gotta run now, will return soon to write more!
Wassalam
