I am reviewing the outdoor Solid Pine table from IKEA that I just got last weekend for my sewing corner. I was initially aiming for an extendable dining table, but husband oppose as this table would be placed in the service yard, where there will be moist. So I search all over again that meets his advice. And that is when I found this nice table that fits our measurements just right!
Our challenge really is the width of the table. Our service yard do not that much of space and we can really only afford a maximum of 50cm width and nothing more else we would all not get through with ease. Length wise 100-150cm range is nice. Height wise, abt 100cm thereabouts.
So when we found one that fits, I just had to grab it in that instance. It was natural Solid Pine, how can I not love it? We arranged the delivery for the earliest date which falls on Monday, but that is alright! We can wait, I guess. :)
I feel sick when I woke up Monday morning with a heavy head, sneezing & coughing, so had to take a day sick leave. Coincidentally, the meds made me high but wont let me shut my eyes to sleep.
So when the package from IKEA arrived at noon.. I tried to force myself to sleep till 1pm, but wasnt successful so I ended up setting the table up to push my energy level to zero.
Set this up on my own |
I woke up to dinner, while husband finish off my half-done work and I didn't waste much time setting it up for my sewing corner!
Yeay! All set up and ready for more sewing days ahead! |
My mom says this is messy and unpleasing to her eyes |
Ta daaa!!! |
I am so loving my sewing corner now!
And oh! The table vibrate minimally while I serge, and is stable still while I sew. So it is double thumbs up for a $169 price tag!
And oh! I added a fan to the window because it does get hot there!
The 6" clip on fan is from Mustaffa Centre! Heee.. Cost $25.50 and it has two speed PLUS it can oscillate! No more drowning in sweats while sewing for me. Yipee!!
"Sew" long, and until I blog again!
